🐾 Frozen Pumpkin & Probiotic Treats for Dogs

Cooling, tummy-friendly, and tail-waggingly delicious!

These frozen pumpkin treats are packed with gut-friendly fibre and probiotics, perfect for hot days or soothing sensitive stomachs. Use Bark & Bloom Pumpkin Powder with plain Greek yoghurt or goat’s yoghurt for a creamy, nutrient-rich snack.

 

🍽️ Ingredients:

  • 🧡 Pumpkin Powder (Bark & Bloom)

  • 🥄 Plain Greek Yoghurt (unsweetened, full-fat)
    OR
    🥛 Goat’s Yoghurt (great for sensitive tummies)

  • Optional: A pinch of cinnamon or crushed dog-safe biscuits for texture

🐶 Serving Guide (Pumpkin Powder Dosage):

Dog SizePumpkin PowderGreek/Goat’s Yoghurt

Small (under 10kg)1 tsp1–2 tbsp

Medium (10–25kg)2 tsp2–4 tbsp

Large (25kg+)1 tbsp4–6 tbsp

(Adjust based on your dog’s weight and tolerance. Start with less if introducing for the first time.)

🧊 Instructions:

  1. Mix it up:
    In a bowl, combine the pumpkin powder and yoghurt. Stir well until smooth and fully blended.

  2. Scoop it out:
    Spoon the mixture into silicone moulds, ice cube trays, or spread onto a lick mat for enrichment.

  3. Freeze:
    Place in the freezer for 2–4 hours or until fully set.

  4. Serve & Store:
    Pop out and serve 1–2 pieces depending on your dog’s size.
    Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.

  • Great for anal gland support, constipation relief, and cooling enrichment.

  • Perfect reward after a walk, training session, or just because they’re cute.

  • For fussy pups, sprinkle a little crushed liver treat or biscuit on top before freezing
